PACIFIC AIR SERVICE

AUCKLAND, This Day.
'To carry out research work in Auck-| land in preparation for ■ the proposed Pacific air service four members of the technical- staff of Pan-American Airways arrived by the Niagara from Vancouver this afternoon. They, were Mr. Harold Gatty, New' Zealand • and Australian representative, Mr. A( Francis, meteorologist, Mr. "W. T. Jarvoe, radio expert, and Mr. M. M. Thompson, ground engineer. They will be in New Zealand several months preparing data.
