CAMP BREAKS UP

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

CHRISTCHURCH, December 20,

There has been no definite diagnosis oi the suspected case of infantile paralysis in a child admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Dr. Fletcher Telford, medical officer of health, said today that it was not now considered likely that the case would prove to be one of infantile paralysis.

A camp at Methven of about 260 members of the religious sect known as Coneyites, is to break up tonight at the request of the medical officer. Residents of the district had objected to the camp, on the ground that people were coming to it from other parts, including Otago, and bringing children.
