"END MUST BE VIQTORY"

"After some months of reorganisation a new National Party has risen out of the ashes of the old; it has struck its tents and is on the march again .. . • and the end must be victory," said Mr. J. Hargest, M.P. for Awarua, in an address tonight to a meeting of the Auckland branch of the Junior League of the New Zealand National Party. Issuing an appeal to "vigorous young men and women" to offer their services as National candidates at the next General Election, Mr. Hargest said the party offered to young people to a greater degree than ever before a chance to co-operate in restoring the country's prosperity.. It was the young people of today who would have to correct the mistakes? of the present.
