THEFT OF RAINCOAT

Charged with the theft of a raincoat valued at 10s, William Anderson, a bootmaker, aged 53, appeared before Mr. Raymond Ferner, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. DetectiveSergeant L. B. Revel] said that on November 30 the accused was found in the act of. selling the coat to a dealer. He had "quite a list" of 54 previous convictions, principally for theft.- He was convicted and sentenced -to a month's imprisonment " with hard labour.
