MORTGAGE RELIEF
RUSH EXPECTED
MINISTER'S REMINDER
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. .All mortgagors who desire to obtain relief or to have a further postponement of mortgage liabilities are strongly advised by the Attorney-General (the Hon. H. G. R. Mason) to make immediate application. ' "They must not come forward on February 1 and plead that they did not understand applications had to be in by January 31," Mr. Mason said. Even those who wanted a continuance of present benefits must apply. The Minister said he anticipated that there would be a rush of work for adjustment commissions and more appointments would have to be made. It was the Government's desire to dispose of all cases during next year so that those affected would be free from any future disturbance in their contracts.
