BAN MAY BE LIFTED
CABINET TO MEET
MELBOURNE, November 30. A conference of several senior Fed* eral Ministers, including the Prima Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, and the At-(orney-General, Mr. R. G. Menzies, today discussed the case of Mrs. Freer. It is understood that they decided to recommend a full Cabinet meeting on Wednesday at Canberra to consider the lifting of the ban on her entry to Australia. Until the full Cabinet meets the views of other Ministers are unknown, but it is believed that the majority, may favour the recommendation. The case is reported to be approaching a crisis. It is expected that an influential section of the Cabinet will attempt to force Mr. Paterson's hands and that this will possibly lead to hi 3 resignation.
