MOLLISON'S FLIGHT
KHARTOUM REACHED
DELAY IN CROSSING THE MEDITERRANEAN
CAIRO, November 30. Mr. J. A. Mollison, who, with the French air ace Edouard Molinier as co-pilot, left Croydon at 9.31 a.m. yesterday in an attempt to reach Cape Town and return to England within five days, arrived at 3.27 a.m. (G.M.T.) and left at 5.25 a.m. Vile weather over the Mediterranean j caused Mr. Mollison to make a 500-mile deviation and he arrived here with only five gallons of petrol. He is now five hours behind schedule, but is pushing on flat out to reach Kisumu tonight and Cape Town tomorrow evening. I (Received December 1, 10 a.m.) KHARTOUM, November 30.'
