Her Excellency also returned to Wellington this morning by air from Blenheim. The Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, arrive^ by the Maori from the south today.. Professor James Shelley, Director of Broadcasting Services, arrived in Wellington from the south this morning. " ...... The Hon. A. Hamilton, leader of the National Party, is expected to arrive in Wellington on Thursday. In the evening he will address a meeting of party executives, committee members, and supporters in the Dominion, Farmers' Institute. Macdonald, secretary of the Canterbury Employers' Association, arrived from the south, today by the Maori. . .-. , Mr. E. A. Batt, of Wellington,. wilL leave Auckland on Friday on a business' visit to London and New' York, and1 will return to New Zealand early in, March. Last evening he carried with him the wishes of the executive of the Automobile Association, Wellington, of which body he is chairman, for a successful journey. Appreciation of the years- of• ser«. vice given to motoring by the late Mr. P. R; Harman, manager of. the South Island Motor Union Mutual Insurance Association, was expressed last evening at a meeting of the executive of the Automobile Association (Wellington), and a motion of sympathy passed with his relatives. For many years Mr. Harman was secretary. of the South Island Motor Union. Advice has been received by cablegram by the Wellington representatives of Lloyd's that Colonel Robert Walker-Roylance has been for some chairman of Lloyd's for 1937. Colonel Walker Roylance has been for'some years a leading underwriter of Lloyd's and a member of the voluntary committee elected by the members, to supervise the affairs of the corporation. Mr. P.
