BRIDAL GROUP IN WHITE
WHITE —HUNTER
Today being St. Andrew's Day, I draperies of red, the ecclesiastical colour for martyred saints, decorated St. Mary's Church, Karori. making a beau-1 liful setting for the wedding, which look place at 2.30, of Miss Moira Alain (Babs) Hunter and Mr. Desmond John Francis White. Red and white Jlowers were also used to decorate the church, and the bride and her bridesmaids were dressed all in white, the brid*2 carrying white Christmas lilies and the bridesmaids , phcafs of crimson roses. The bride, who is the daughter of Professor -T. A. Hunter (Vice Chancellor of the University of. New Zealand) and Mrs. Hunter, was escorted into the church by her father and attended by three bridesmaids,-Miss Beth Hunter (her sister), Miss Nancy Wheeler, and Miss Mollie Peacock. The bridegroom, who is the' son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. White, had as his best man Mr. John Hornabrook; (Masterton), and •Messrs. George Bullock-Douglas (Wanganui) and Colin Armstrong were groomsmen.' The Rev. F. M. Kempj thorne performed the Ceremony. White silk faille "formed the bride and bridesmaids' gowns. The bridal gown was made on very slim lines.
