SYDNEY, November 17.
At the wool sales 12,659 bales were offered and 11,334 sold. 1095 privately. The market strength was well maintained under very keen competition from Yorkshire and France and occasionally America.
Greasy merino made to 27|d.
Sydney averages are as follows: — October 31, 14.5 d per lb; November 7, 15.8 d per lb; November 14, 16.9 d.
