ITALIAN CONSULATE
A BRIEF VISIT
Because of the deathi of Dr. M. Dessaules, Commander L. B. Vitali, D.S.C., Italian Vice-Consul at Sydney, arrived at Wellington by the Wanganella today to attend to consular business in New "commander Vitali, who has been resident in Australia for thirteen years, has paid several visits to Wellington and understands the work of the Italian Consulate here. When interviewed by a "Post" representative, he said he did not know whether he would have to remain in New Zealand later or not. In the meantime he was to visit Wellington and Auckland, and then return to Sydney to report to the Consul there. His present visit would last for a few days only.
