THE POPE'S HEALTH
UNFOUNDED REPORTS
LONDON, November 16,
The Kotne correspondent of "The Times" says that alarming reports about the Pope's health are authoritatively declared to be without foundation. His Holiness has benefited by his summer residence at Castel Gandolfo. Moreover, he recently granted a number of audiences and delivered addresses. It is admitted that the Pope has lost some of his former physical activity and is frequently carried to the threshold of the audience hall. His kidney complaint of long standing is causing some preoccupation. His Holiness has aged noticeably in recent months and is troubled wtih asthma.
