NOTABLE GOLD OUTPUT
NEW YORK, November 16.
The Toronto correspondent of "The Times" says that twceptional prosperity in the minims industry has enhanced materially the economic status of the Dominion, .gold being particularly noteworthy, tihe output for 1936 being estimated at 24,000,000 dollars.
Ottawa reports that exports of Canadian products during October were valued at 111,000,000 do! Uirs, exceeding every month since November, 1929. Imports totalled 65,000,000 dollars.
