HUTT ROSE SHOW.
Snlendid entries have been received for the Hutt Rose Show, which fs to be held in the Horticultural Hall, Lower Hult. tomorrow. It will be officially owned by his Excellency the Goven or-General (Viscount Galway) at 2.45 p.m. There will be special displays of roses from the schools; calceolarias from Orongorongo, hydrangeas calendulas, aquilegias poppies, tnd novelty stands. There have been a large number of entries for the decorative and needlework sections. The show is to be held for one day only, and will be open continuously from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitors may take bases to the Lower Hutt Post Office.
One first offender for drunkenness was convicted and discharged by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court (odny.
