PARTIES AT HERETAUNGA

Miss Betty McParland arid Mr. Eric Nathan have been entertained at a number of parties recently, and many more'have been arranged to take place before their wedding next week.

On Saturday the Misses Penelope and Barbara Blundell gave a "five o'clock" party at their home at Heretaunga. Those present included Mr. and Mrs. D. Another party took place at Heretaunga last night when one of Miss McParland's bridesmaids, Miss Jessie Peacock, entertained the prospective bridal party at-dinner. Beautiful roses decorated the table, and the guests ■included Miss McParland and her [fiance, Miss Mollie Peacock (the hostess's sister), Miss Joyce Nathan, ■Miss Betty Herbert; and Messrs. George Milne, Colin Armstrong, Tom Webb, and Bob Watson.
