Kilbirnie batted first and declared .with ten wickets down for 241 runs (Drake not out 51, A'Court retired 31, Heath 28, Parkin 23, Dunn" hot out 16, Wall 16, Allen 15,, Cocks 15). Maori Bank Colts replied with .124 (Ward 32, Tucker 31, Irvine 26. Auckram 12, McKay 11). Bowling for Kilbirnie, White took four wickets for 16 runs, (including the hattrick), Drake two for 16, Allen two for 25, ■ Parkin two for 46, and Askew one for 2. For Maori Bank Colts, Dunn took three wickets for 60 runs, Auckram three for 81; Wilson' two for 24, and Beech' one for 55.
