PIXIE PEOPLE
Is every pixie, big and small, in our Ring tonight? I hope so, for there is a Most Important Announcement to he made . . . the opening of our Christmas Gift andScrapbook Clipboard. "It's almost mid-October!" croak the goggle-eyed frogs, who guard the Calen-dar-of-the-Ring. It means that Christmas is very near ... the tiniest whisper of it is stealing into the big, city shops ... in brightening decorations . . in piles of gifts. This year let us try to make it the best and biggest Gift Cupboard we have ever had.
"Sweet Agnes" has started our Christmas scrapbook collection with a neatly-made book, packed with bright pictures. I wonder vif each Pixie-of-the-Ring could make one scrapbook to cheer little people in hospital ... and I wonder who, this year, is going to win the prize offered for the best Christmas scrapbook sent to the Ring. Next Saturday our special Spring Page will appear, so lastminute stories and verses must reach the Ring by Tuesday. Please post early, story and verse makers:l My love to every Pixie-of-tlie-Riug. ■'■-./■• FAIRIEL.
