NEW YORK CLOTHES
"I had a lovely time shopping In New York," wrote a' traveller recently. "The shops have a wonderful range of the smartest possible clothes at very cheap prices. For instance, I bought the cutest little Ginger Rogers suit for an equivalent of only 7s lid. The materials are not so good as those in London, but the cut is perfect. Shoes, too, can be bought in an almost endless variety of colours just as cheaply."
