GRANTS TO WIDOWS
AIR RACE RELICTS
TRUST FUND FOR CHILDREN

JOHANNESBURG, October 6.
The donor of the prize-money for the Johannesburg air race, Mr. I. W. Schlesinger, is granting £2000 each to Mrs. Findlay and Mrs. Morgan, the widows of the victims of the fatal crash in the race. The remaining £2000 of the prize-money is being devoted to a trust fund for the benefit of their children.
Mr. Schlesinger says he is not downhearted at the result "of the race, and th,at it will give a fillip to civil aviation, ■■'
