TOTALISATOR TEST
MATINEE AT TRENTHAM
Arrangements 'havel'now been concluded for the matinee meeting at Trentham on Saturday afternoon to test the new Julius totalisator. ' The official opening will be performed by the Prime Minister, (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage), and members of the club and their friends will be the guests of the officials. ," ■■!'"■.■"
Two parades are to be conducted, one for two-year-olds and the other for older horses, and they will be run over three furlongs and five furlongs respectively. The horses are to be ridden on colours, and the totalisator will be opened on the .parades as for real races, but, of course, no money will pass for the tickets.1 Entries for the parades close at the office' of the club at noon tomorrow, no fees being required. v
