SALES IN SYDNEY

At the wool sales today 10,568 bales were offered, of which 8968 were sold at auction, 1749 being sold privately.
There was strong competition from Yorkshire and the Continent, and the market was firm at the previous day's improved levels. A line of greasy merino fleece sold to 193 d.
