WILFORD TENNIS CLUB
The Wilford Tennis Club ■ held its official opening of the 1936-37 season on Saturday, sixty members and friends being present. The club's patron, Mr. V. A. Noble, J.P., performed the opening ceremony, and in a short address outlined the activities of the club over the last twelve months. Exhibition matches were played by Messrs. J. Charters, K. Dyer, N. Smith, and N. Edwards. In the evening a dance was held in the Petone Working Men's Club Social Hall.
