TRAMWAYMEN'S THANKS
A general meeting of members of the Wellington Tramway Union oi Employees recently decided unanimously to forward a special resolution of thanks and appreciation to the' Prime Minister and the members of the Labour 'Government for the splendid results obtained from the new industrial and economic legislation.
Complete confidence in the Government was freely expressed by many of those present, and it was decided to advise members to await patiently the completion of the new legislation now being dealt with, week, states' a' report of the- meeting. As up till recently, states a report of the meeting, tramwaymen have been working the full six days in each week, the change over to the five days, with one complete day of rest and leisure, is greatly appreciated by all employees. ___^^____^__ *
