HUTT LAND DISPUTE
Decision was reserved by the Court of Appeal (Mr. Justice Ostler, Mr. Justice Blair, Mr. Justice _ Kennedy, and Mr. Justice Callan) yesterday afternoon on the appeal by the Wellington City Corporation against a judgment of the Acting Chief Justice (Sir John Reed) depriving it of a small piece of land which it alleged belonged to the Hutt Road reserve.
The respondents were John William Alexander Mcßae and Helena Frances Mcßae (Mr. O. C. Mazengarb), in whose name the kind stands, and the District Land Registrar (Mr. A. E. Currie).
The hearing lasted two and a half days.
