At the wool sales today 11,576 bales were offered, of which 9762 were sold at auction; also 1429 bales were sold privately. There was a stronger demand for all better descriptions of fleece and skirtings, while prices for , average and faulty, sorts showed some recovery. A line of greasy merino made 21id.
