TOOHEY'S BREWERY PROFITS
Tooheys, • Ltd., brewing company. Sydney, records a profit of £108,819 for the year ended July 31, or £16,068 in advance of the profit of the previous year. Dividend is 8 per cent. (4 interim and 4 final), against 1i per cent, for 1934-35, and requires £96,000. The dividend for 1934 was 6£ per cent. There is a balance of £12,819; and after transferring £36,500 to the reserve fund from £52,931 brought forward, there is carried forward £29,250. Reserve after the transfer from the profit and loss account will amount to £625,000.
