Sir James Grose returned to Wellington from the south this morning. Dr. J. Hight arrived in Wellington from Lyttelton this morning. Sir James Allen was a passenger by ;he Rangatira to Wellington this morning. Mr. N. Rutherford, of Canterbury, accompanied by Mrs. Rutherford, returned on the Wanganella today, from Sydney, after a four months' holiday tour to Singapore. Mr. H. F. O'Leary, K.C., of Wellington, returned by the Wanganella today from a health-recruiting trip to Sydney and Melbourne. He has been away for four weeks. Mr. R. G. Varlow, who has been abroad since May on a visit to England, returned to Wellington, via Australia, by the Wanganella today. The Hon. Eliot R. Davis, M.L.C. (Auckland), the Hon. Harold A..
