OFFENCES ADMITTED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, This Day. Appearing on remand from Napier, Eric Alfred Chapman, aged 23, pleaded guilty in the Police Court today to breaking and entering J. J. Nlven's premises and stealing money and a cheque valued at £45, and breaking and entering the Hamilton borough gasworks. Detective White said that the accused made a frank confession of the offences and gave the police every assistance. The accused was committed for sentence in the Supreme Court at Wellington, where he will also be sentenced for ten offences at Napier and two at Palmerston North.
