DAMAGED MATUA
MAKING GOOD PROGRESS
{By.. Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Advice has been received in Auckland that the motor-vessel Matua, which struck a reef at the Cook Islands, is making good speed and is expected to arrive in Auckland on Friday instead of Sunday. After unloading her cargo of fruit she will probably be docked at Devonport for inspection of the slight damage to her rudder and port propeller. The Matua left Auckland on September 10, and ordinarily was due back on Tuesday next.
