A' bogey competition- on the Rangi•narie links on Saturday was won by VI. Irvine with 3 down.. ' . ._ A stroke competition yesterday saw = L. Mincher do best with 96 21—75. Next came V. Kittelty, 89; 13—76; J. Watt, 88, 12—76; and T. Grover, 97, 21 ~ln the semi-finals of the captain's trophy competition, Fmdlay beat Kittelty, 3 and 2; T. Dodson beat Wales, In future there will be no bus run to the Rangimarie links on Saturday afternoons. A special bus will run on Sundays as usuaL On Saturday next a bogey competition will be played, and on Sunday a stroke event will be played in the morning and a fourball bogey competition in the afternoon. . The second round of the senior ..intermediate, and junior championships must be played next weekend. A Stableford competition yesterday was won by Miss Whiteman, with 42 points, Mrs. McMahon coming next with 43.
