The Mastertou Golf . Club defeated the Hutt Club, by the comfortable mar- C gin of 36 games to 11 in a match played on the Lansdowne links' at the weekend. In the singles Masterton scored 25 wins to Hutt's 7, 3 games being halved. The fourball games resulted in Masterton winning 11 and Hutt 4. Masterton's win, enabled the club to take the Heketa Shield from the Hutt Club. In the first match at Hutt earlier in the season Hutt scored 37 wins to Masterton's 17.- but Masterton's win [ at the weekend by 36 games to 11 gave f them a winning margin on the aggregate of 5 games.
