The bogey at Miramaron Saturday was won by E.E Liddle, on the 7 mark, who did a 75, finishing 4 up. J. H. Drake and H. A. Black also did 75's, finishing all square. D. S. Halley was 7 up but did not enter. Other cards were:—L. D. Hurst, 2 up; J. B. Reid, 2 up; W. F. Stilwell, 1 up; J. R. Smith, 1 up; t. E. Hollis and H. Frood, all square. In the semi-final of the senior championship yesterday, J. Shelly beat J. H. Drake, over 36 holes, by 6 and 5. Shelly maintained the steady form which has marked his play throughout the competition, going out in the first round in even 4's. In the final he will meet the winner of the game between H. A. Black and C. E. Hollis. m In the final of the Prince of wales Cup competition, J. Cohvill (9) beat H. Black (1), by 5 and 4, over 36 In the junior championship, W. F. Stilwell beat E. E. Brooking, 2 and 1; H. Parkin beat V. Dentice, 2 and 1. In the Magnus Cup competition, Martin beat Liddle, 3 and 2; Robertson beat Poole, 2 and 1; W. S. Barr beat W. Parkin, 2 and 1. R, C. Butters, professional coach to the Miramar Club,, did a brilliant round of 71 yesterday, going out in 35, and returning ih' 36. This was exceptionally good golf, considering the blustering northerly wind • which was ■blowing.
