The following house matches were played on Saturday:— Reserve Bank 16, National Bank ,9. Jackson (2) and Robinson (2) scored tries for Reserve Bank. S. Eade and Kyle each converted a try. For National Bank McMillan kicked a penalty goal and Turvey and Long each scored a try. Hibberd, Son. and Burns 11, Gordon and Gotch 10. For Hibberd's Hodge, McDonald, Lampson each scored a try. Kelly converted one. For Gordon and Gotch Daly and Allen scored tries and McLean potted a goal. George and George 27, L. Evans and Co. 11. For George and George tries were scored by Badland (5), Warburton, and George. Mollier converted

two and Badland one. Harris scored a try for L. Evans and Co., which Duffy converted. He also kicked a penalty goal. R. Hannah and Co., Ltd., factory staff, 23. Warehouse Staff 20. Tries were scored for the factory side by Johns, Lane, Cutting, Humpherson, and Quinn. Symons converted four. C. Wareham, O'Brien, Day, and Mills scored tries for the warehouse staff. McKenzje, Ltd., 0. Hyde and Baker scored tries for Dickinsons. DIC. 28, Kirkcaldie and Stains 8. Bruce (3), Jeffs (2), Evanson, and Baird scored tries for D.I.C. Jeffs converted one and kicked a penalty goal, and Bell also converted a try. For the losers Dowling scored a try. Devon converted and also kicked a P A Rugby football match between S. S. Williams Co., Ltd., and Scoullar's Ltd. on Kilbirnie Reserve on Saturday was keen and willing, and resulted in a win for S. S. Williams Co., Ltd's team by 8 points to 3. By winning the game the winners have assumed one role of the champion Rugby team of the Wellington furniture houses, and are open to meet any challenge for that title. ' . , Miramar Married 12, Miramar Single G. Scorers for Married were Simondson, Green, Haley, and Eastgate, while S. G. Smith scored for Single and Lochore kicked a penalty. Eastbourne Club Game.—A game between Eastbourne Married and Eastbourne Single resulted in a draw, 19 points all. Lowe, Dennehy, Tristan, Jones, and Fahey scored for the married men, F. Jones and K. Gibbons each converting a try. Phillips, Collins Spence. Hill, and Murray scored tries for the single men, Spence converting two. Office v. Factory—The weather was ideal and the turf in tip-top condition for the annual match, played at Kaiwarra Park, between the office and factory staff teams of Messrs. W D. and H. O. Wills. Fast and open, play was the order throughout the game and was much appreciated by the spectators. The game was won by Wellington 18-9. Scorers for the winners were: Clere, Lewis, Monteath, and McGreevy (tries), Dyberg potted a goal and Hill converted a try. For the losers Scott and Martin scored tries and Scott kicked a penalty.
