MUNITIONS TO GERMANY GIANT AMERICAN FIRM COMPACT TO DIVIDE WORLD MARKETS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON, Sept. 17. The Senate Munitions Investigation Committee has issued a report of secret testimony taken months ago indicating that the giant firm of du Pont de Nemours and Company holds an active financial interest,in the rearming of Nazi Germany.
■lt is revealed that the company owned 7.98 per centi of the Dynamit Actien-Gesellschaft, a holding company for German munitions firms, and had an agreement, .firm to share trade secrets and divide world markets. >
Evidence was also published indicating that the du Pont firm did a considerable small-arms business in Holland before Herr Hitler's repudiation of disarmament, and that much of the material. supplied was smuggled into Germany for equipping Nazi Storm Troops. .■'.■"-■
