CORRESPONDENCE
NORTHLAND BUS SERVICE
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I wish to draw attention to the Northland bus time-table on Saturdays. During the week the times, I think, suit the working people but on Saturday, when everyone wishes to be home as soon as possible, there is a half-hour wait before the bus leaves Te Aro Post Office. A bus leaves the library, at 12.2. What hope has anyone (unless they are employed, right at the bus stop) of catching it? The next bus leaves at 12.35, over half an hernlater, and daily passengers find this time of waiting extremely inconvenient especially as the shops now close at noon. I would suggest that the 12.2 bus be delayed till 12.10, thus enabling the workers to catch it.—l am, etc., DAILY. PASSENGER.
