FAVOURITE FOODS
The result's of'a "survey" among business, Governmental, and civic leaders throughout the country to determine the most popular American dishes were announced recently by the National Restaurant Association. The "survey" disclosed that corned beef alid cabbage runs a close race with steak as the favourite main dish. ~ Among soups, vegetable and onion top all others. White fish leads in that course, and lettuce and tomato salad is the choice. Favourite.desserts are apple and gooseberry pie. Coffee is the preferred beverage, with milk a close secondhand white bread,is a. two. to. one choice.
