STABILITY OF SHIPS
DEVICE DEMONSTRATED --(Received September 18, 1 p.m.) LONDON, September 17. A device known as the DennyBrown stabiliser was demonstrated today, which is claimed to reduce the rolling and pitching of ships and to eliminate sea-sickness. It consists of fins fitted on each side of a ship, controlled by a gyroscope. It is stated that there is no reason why it should not bo fitted to ships of any type or size.
