ENGLISH LEAGUE TEAM TREATMENT FROM CROWDS (Received September 18, 11 a.m.) LONDON, September 17. The English Rugby League team, which visited Australia and New Zealand, landed at Southampton. The manager, Mr. Anderton, told the Australian Associated Press agency that the team deeply appreciated the treatment received from Australian and New Zealand crowds. The tour had further cemented the good relations between the Australian, New Zealand, and English Leagues.
