• A J. Mills and Co. have received cabled advice from London giving the following market prices as ruling at the close, of buisness, September 17:— Butter.—The market is slow. New Zealand finest. 104s to 106s; New Zealand firsts, 103s to 104s; Australian choicest, 105s to 106s; Australian first grade, 103s to 104s; Danish (spot),' 1225; Danish (fob), 102s; Siberian and Baltic States, 98s to 100s., Cheese;— The market is slow." New Zealand white, 67s to 67s 6d; New Zealand coloured, 65s 6d to 665; Canadian white, 70s to 71s; Canadian coloured, 68s'to 695.
