PAREMATA BRIDGE
OFFICIAL OPENING SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 The official opening of the Paremata Bridge, which will give shortened access to Plimmerton and the surrounding district, will take place on Saturday, October 3, at 2.30 p.m. The Hon. R. Semple, Minister of Public, Works, will perform the opening ceremony, after which the bridge and the mile of road into Plimmerton will be open for traffic. ' The 'Hutt ■ County Council*' which opened negotiations for the bridge, the Automobile Association (Wellington), and other bodies will be represented at the ceremony.
