TRENTHAM CLUB
The annual meeting of the Trentham Defence Tennis Club was held recently, Mr. W. O. Thomas presiding. The delegate to the Hutt Valley SubAssociation brought to the notice of members the desire of the sub-associa-tion to'procure its own courts in the Hutt Valley. The meeting recommended the incoming committee to investigate ways and means of raising funds to assist the sub-association. Seventeen new members were elected.

Jackson: hon. secretary, Mr. T. G. Chapman; hon. treasurer, Mr. R. J. Gamble; hon. auditor. Captain E. L. G. Bown; club captain, Mr. R. P. Kennedy; vice-cantain, Mr. T. G. Chapman; selectors, Messrs. R. P. Kennedy and R. J. Gamble; delegates to Hutt Valley Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs. T. G. Chapman and J. G. Scott; committee, Misses E. Johnston, E. Millen. M. Mumby, and B. Lowe, Messrs. I G. Scott, A. Richardson, and J. Nash.
