FLOWERS IN THE HAIR
Headdresses will not be quite so popular during the coming season, and, where real flowers are not worn, the new dusty pink and blue gardenias, centred with pearls, are smart, states a London writer. They are in cameo shades of pink, and chalk blue, as well as off-white; in clusters of two or three, as well as single blooms.
Of Britain's total, national income, 16 per cent, goes to the rich, 28 per cent, to the middle classes, and just over 50 per cent, to the poor.
