The two yeuM people were practising baseball^neM the Assiniboine River when suddenly Miss Milne hit a ball into some bushes. Instead of finding the ball, they found a woman's black handbag. In it were the jewels and some money. The gems were identified as those lost by a Mile. Beuroit while on her way back from a local race meeting. Now Miss Milne and Mr. Chambers expect to reeeiv* the 300 dollars (£6O) reward offered for the recovery of the jewels/
