DEADLOCK AGAIN
AUSTRALIA AND JAPAN
CANBERRA, September 15. Trade negotiations between Australia and Japan are believed again to.have reached a deadlock. Japan is insisting on a substantial reduction of duties on artificial silk and cotton piece goods which the Commonwealth is not prepared to grant.
