SHIPPING COMPANIES RUGBY
The annual Rugby football match be tween teams representing the Union Steam Snip Company and the Combined Shipping Companies is to be I played this year at Williams Park, Day's Bay, on Saturday. - Weather and other circumstances permitting, thetug Terawhiti, conveying the, teams and supporters, will leave the Tug Wharf about 1.45 p.m.. and return from Day's Bay immediately after the game. Afternoon tea and other refreshment will .be provided for those desiring it. In the evening the annual smoke concert is ■to be held in ' the Concert Chamber, 'Town Hall, the chairman being Captain S. Holm. Among the speakers at the smoke concert will be the Hon. P. Fraser (Minister of Marine) and Paymaster-Commander E. L. Tottenham, R.N. ■. ,"
