HENNEBERRY BEATS JONES
SYDNEY, September 14. At the Stadium tonight Fred Henneberry, 11.4, retained the middleweight title when he knocked out the American negro Tommy Jones, 10.11, in the ninth round. The latter was severely handicapped by an injured hand from the second round onwards.
