In the shoot-off for the C grade championship Hutt defeated the "Evening Post" after a very Interesting match, Hutt scoring 460 to the "Evening Post's" 453. The second quarter of the shooting of the Brooklyn Club terminated: last week, when the club members took part in the teams shoot for tho Holcrdft Shield. The conditions were the seven highest scorers In each team, flvo shots, optional sighter, only siehter to bo marked. Mr. Dore's team proved the winners with 318. Mr. Hoffelns's team was second with 314, followed by Mr. Bunting's 310, Mr. MUler'a 307, Mr. Boddy'a 285. The winners of the series competitions were:— First Series. —A grade. Miss A. Cockroft; B grade, T. Lawton; C grade, C. Gray.. ' Second Series.—A grade, A. Westwood; B grade, B. Hendrlckson; C grade, L. Jamleson. Points Cup.—Ladles, Miss Cockroft; men, A. Jamieson is one of the youngest members, very keen, and he shows distinct promise of becoming one of the leading shots of the club. Members of tho team that represented the club in tho Osmond Shield were heartily congratulated on winning this hahdsomo trophy for the second time this season with a score of 679 out of 700. A very enjoyablo match took place last Thursday evening when the Hutt A 2 team visited Brooklyn. Tho result was a win for Brooklyn by 10 points. Congratulations wore extended to J.
