THE TEA MARKETS

According to private advices rbceived in Wellington the market for common and low-medium teas at the Colombo tea auction this week was. strong and active, prices advancing about id a lb. Medium and better grades were Jd to id a lb dearer, with-best teas selling according to quality. Quality continues to be useful.
