A lacerated wound on the upper lip was received by P. G. McCormack, a fitter, of 116 Tinakori Road, when he was struck by a starting handle while working at the new railway yards yesterday. Hi was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. While working on a machine at' 96 Tory Street yesterday, W. Swenson, a linotype operator, of 41 Holloway Road, had the tip of the fourth' finger of his left hand removed. He was taken to hospital.
