MAGISTRATE'S REBUKE
The unusual conduct of the accused in a case heard before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court this afternoon elicited a rebuke from the Magistrate. Upon entering the dock the accused produced a nail file, and while the evidence ewas being typed, commenced operations on his fingernails.-' This went, on for some time, until the Magistrate pointed out in no uncertain terms that he did not approve of people carrying on toilet operations in the dock. The file was then returned to the accused's pocket, and he confined his attention to the evidence which was being given relative to his own prosecution. i
